Overview
SoundHound provides Voice AI to top car companies worldwide, such as Hyundai, Kia, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Citroen, Opel, Vauxhall, DS, and more. The Technical Program Manager, Automotive+ has a key role in ensuring the success of our automotive partners, by planning, executing and delivering the best Voice AI solution so that they can build the next generation of AI enabled vehicles. As part of the Automotive team you will collaborate with the Engineering teams as well as the other TPMs and our Partner Engineers to drive the product roadmap and deliveries.
In this role, you will:
- Serve as the primary point of technical contact for partners, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication across cultural boundaries.
- Coordinate engineering teams focusing on developing advanced voice assistant systems.
- Develop detailed project documentation, oversee project scope, schedule, and deployment.
- Address and mitigate project risks, spearheading problem resolution to ensure project success.
- Foster a collaborative international work environment, respecting and integrating diverse cultural perspectives in project planning and execution.
We'd love to hear from you if your qualifications/attributes include:
- You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- You have experience in technical program management. Technologies you are familiar with includes Linux, Python, ASR or other AI technologies.
- You have demonstrated your ability in leading cross-functional and cross-cultural teams, managing complex projects in a dynamic, international environment.
We’d be especially excited if you have been involved in large automotive projects.
