BUSINESS OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

Melbourne, Australia

ABOUT US

World View Indo-Pacific is a wholly owned subsidiary of World View Enterprises, An Ondus Company. We strive to be a responsible technology leader in the collection, analysis, and delivery of actionable information gathered by our strategically placed arrays of persistent sensors in the stratosphere.

We provide on demand, scheduled, and historical aerial data and analytics from sensors deployed to the stratosphere with persistent coverage, higher resolution, and increased value over traditional aerial and space imagery sources.

Are you ready to be part of something truly extraordinary and out of this world!

THE ROLE OF BUSINESS OPERATIONS COORDINATOR

This isn’t just another job, it’s a mission. It is a true all-rounder position for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and being at the centre of how a business operates.

As our Business Operations Coordinator, you will be the connective tissue of the organisation. One day you may be ensuring the office runs seamlessly and driving efficiencies in the business; the next you may be assisting mission control operations, working with suppliers, or improving our security posture.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Keeping the Business Running Day to Day: Own and coordinate office operations, suppliers, onboarding, and general workplace logistics to ensure the business runs smoothly and professionally.
  • Establish strong relationships with key suppliers and own ongoing supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, and responsiveness.
  • Supporting Operations & Mission Control: Provide hands-on coordination and administrative support to Mission Control and Operational teams, particularly during periods of active missions and critical activity.
  • Supporting Governance & Compliance Foundations: Assist with security and regulatory activities, managing documentation, and helping prepare for audits.
  • Improving Systems, Processes & Ways of Working: Identify gaps and inefficiencies and implement practical, scalable processes that strengthen operational effectiveness.
  • Being the go-to when things sit between the cracks: Take ownership of cross-functional and undefined tasks, ensuring important work is driven through to completion.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TEAM

You’ll bring your whole self to the role, you’ll be comfortable with ambiguity, see challenges as opportunities and a growth mindset to anticipate change, solve complex problems, be creative, and continuously look for improvements.

This role is ideal for a highly organised, practical professional who enjoys bringing structure to fast-moving environments and takes pride in being the person others rely on to keep things running smoothly, safely, and effectively.

For you to be successful you’ll also need

  • Experience in office management, operations coordination, or similar all-rounder role.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to juggle competing priorities.
  • A practical, solutions-focused mindset.
  • Confidence working with policies, procedures, and sensitive information.
  • Clear communication skills and a high level of discretion.

Experience in regulated, security-conscious, defence, aerospace, or technology environments is helpful but not essential. Curiosity, adaptability, and good judgement matter more.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW

You’ll have genuine variety, no two days or weeks will look the same. You’ll work closely with global leaders, Operations and Mission Control and help shape how we do business, not just maintain it. We see this role growing as we grow with scope to go deeper into Operations leadership.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land on which we will operate and pay our respects to Elders past, present, and emerging. We are committed to building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and creating opportunities for Indigenous employment, career growth, and collaboration.

We believe in creating a dynamic and inclusive workplace where creativity thrives, and every voice is heard. Our commitment to all team members is built upon five core cultural pillars: Engage, Lean In, Create, Care, and Own. Together, these pillars form the foundation of our employee experience while adhering to the highest standards of ethical and sustainable practices.
