Vemos is looking for an Android Developer to join its team in Minneapolis as a Contractor. We’re a tech startup that builds software for the nightlife industry with the mission to allow our customers to manage, understand, and grow their venue from a single dashboard. We’re a small team, so your voice will be heard and your ideas will matter.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is an experienced mobile developer who has built and released several Android native apps. Bonus points if you developed the backend to support the apps, or have used React Native to deploy apps to multiple platforms (iOS, Android, Web). We need someone who is self-motivated, adaptable, an eager learner, and a conceptual thinker who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment found in startup culture.

What You’ll Be Doing

The person in this role will be working onsite in our Minneapolis office, building and maintaining our mobile apps. This includes:

• Evaluating current codebase and suggesting improvements
• Developing new features and functionality
• Fixing bugs and issues from crash reports
• Deploying and monitoring releases
• Testing builds in real customer environments
• Supporting live apps

• 2+ years of experience developing native apps
