Job Title: Personal Health Assistant Support Representative
Location: Remote
Salary Range: $37,000 - $47,000 per year
Reports To: Director of Member Experience

Job Summary:
The PHA team helps connect our members with the care they need for free, that’s right $0. Healthcare is confusing and expensive so we want to make sure it is easy and free. Our PHA’s are responsible for answering phone calls, emails, chats, and faxes addressing member requests and or concerns and to understand and address their healthcare needs by referring to the right healthcare provider at no cost. We take great pride in giving our PHA's the tools and autonomy needed to always make the member experience exceptional with every interaction. This support role will be instrumental in supporting these functions.
Key Responsibilities of Position:
- Daily Follow Up Support: Review PHA follow ups by checking for service dates, messaging providers for updates, checking for needed actions and communicating with PHA’s in Zendesk tickets.
- Zendesk Support: Reviewing open tickets and unsolved tickets for accuracy and consistency. Updating tickets that have service dates and assigning to the PHA handling the ticket.
- goZERO Support: Answer inquiries in our internal referral platform to ensure that members are seen promptly for their visits, and all provider questions are addressed.
- Outbound Communications: Includes calling members to initiate referrals from faxes received, following up on messages left to members by the PHA’s, emailing appointment/coverage confirmations, requesting documents/info requested by providers, and scheduling reminders.
- Fax Support: Review faxes, request referrals in GoZERO for referral partners and adding orders to existing referrals.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other teams at ZERO including the Personal Health Assistants
You must have
- Ability to work M-F as early as 7 am or as late as 7 pm
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Six months customer service experience
- Ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs
- Ability to speak effectively with customers and employees of the organization
- Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent typing skills
- Basic computer knowledge/PC experience
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- A quiet and secure location when working from home.
It would be even cooler if you had
- Experience in Healthcare
- Experience with G-Suite - Google drive, sheets, and docs
- Experience with Zendesk or another web-based ticketing system
- Experience with patient referrals programs
- Bachelor's Degree
