Tempus Next is looking to hire an Analyst, NEXT Strategy & Operations to support the development and implementation of data-driven solutions aimed at improving patient outcomes through advanced analytics and AI applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with but not limited to, Product, Engineering, and Tempus Next Operations to drive the adoption of Tempus Next-ID at the site level
  • Collaborate cross functionally to support improvements to Tempus Next-ID patient matching that involve machine learning, natural language processing, and general AI applications
  • Validate that the inclusion and exclusion criteria for Tempus Next-ID has been configured to return expected results post generation of trial eligibility code
  • Investigate unexpected algorithmic output, working with others to get to the appropriate resolution
  • Support integration of new data sources into the Tempus Next platform and stay current with the Tempus data model and schemas in our databases
  • Maintain code, technical processes, and documentation
  • Assist client facing and internal teams with ad hoc data analyses

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in an data/analytics field
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience, preferably in an analytical or consulting role within or in support of the Life Sciences or Healthcare industry
  • Experience working with EMRs and EMR data
  • Strong command of SQL and data-serialization/configuration language, preferably YAML
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work independently and work efficiently under time constraints
  • Proficient in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Sheets, etc.) and Excel
  • Obsessive attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to work in an agile and expanding team environment
