Passionate about precision medicine and advancing the healthcare industry?

Recent advancements in underlying technology have finally made it possible for AI to impact clinical care and research in a meaningful way. Tempus' proprietary platform connects an entire ecosystem of real-world evidence to deliver real-time, actionable insights to physicians and healthcare organizations, providing critical information about the right treatments for the right patients, at the right time.

What you’ll do

As a Cardiology Clinical Data Manager, you will play a critical role in helping drive our goal of impactful(?) clinical care forward by helping us internally execute the data curation steps for product development and externally manage accounts utilizing these products within the Tempus Next platform.

Expanding the platform - The Cardiology Clinical Data Manager will be responsible for leading a team of Data Abstractors who are responsible for reviewing clinical records, structuring key data elements and building the clinical repositories that fuel the Tempus Next platform tools. You will be responsible for executing Data Abstractor training, monitoring throughput, and performing quality checks of the data prior to handing it off to the next stakeholder. The Cardiology CDM will also draft and maintain all abstraction related documentation required for each project including SOPs and protocols required for FDA submissions and other internal projects.

Supporting the platform - For Tempus Next account management, this role is responsible for building and expanding relationships with the lead physicians and associates from an assigned health system. With the help of your team of Data Abstractors, you will ensure that each assigned account is configured correctly and make corrections as needed. Additionally, once the Connectivity team has completed the site integration, you will meet with the site team members (physicians, nurses, project managers, or other critical stakeholders) to answer questions and ensure the platform is operating as expected from a clinical standpoint.
