Job Title: Production Supervisor-Night Shift

Supervisor’s Title: Manufacturing Manager

Department: Manufacturing

Location: Holt Michigan

Position Overview:

Oversee the personnel within the plant, along with managing the manufacturing process to ensure that production lines run efficiently with minimal downtime while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime.
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all lines.
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines.
  • Assures finished goods are in accordance with company quality control guidelines.
  • Sets ambitious production goals and communicates goals to key personnel.
  • Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees.
  • Maintain regulatory compliance and update employees concerning regulatory requirements of the EPA and OSHA.
  • Establishes and maintains plant policies, procedures, and guidelines consistent with company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Establishes and monitors compliance with all federal, state, and local statutes.
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management.
  • Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity.
  • Foster an environment that encourages respectful, honest, and open two-way communication.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of management experience in a production environment.
  • Previous experience in safety and quality is strongly preferred.
  • Background in lean manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of the organization.
