Lead Product Manager, Martech & Loyalty

Sweetgreen is on a mission to build healthier communities by connecting people to real food. We passionately believe that real food should be convenient and accessible to everyone. Every day in each sweetgreen, our 5,000 team members make food from scratch, using fresh ingredients and produce delivered that morning. And in our local communities, we're committed to leaving people better than we found them. We're in the business of feeding people, and we're out to change what that means.

The Senior Product Manager, Martech & Loyalty will own the product strategy and roadmap for sweetgreen's loyalty program and marketing technology stack. You'll be responsible for evolving SG Rewards, optimizing our martech infrastructure, and building the personalization capabilities that deepen customer relationships and drive retention. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing, and data—requiring someone who can translate business goals into technical requirements while keeping the customer experience at the center of every decision.

You will:

  • Own the end-to-end product strategy for SG Rewards, including points earning and redemption, member tiers, challenges, and program evolution

  • Lead martech platform strategy, including vendor evaluation, migration planning, and integration with our broader tech ecosystem

  • Partner with Marketing to optimize our martech stack and enable sophisticated segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle campaigns

  • Define and execute the roadmap for loyalty touchpoints across app, web, kiosk, and in-store experiences

  • Drive measurable improvements in loyalty program KPIs: member acquisition, engagement rates, redemption behavior, and program ROI

  • Collaborate with Data and Analytics to build robust measurement frameworks and surface insights that inform program strategy

  • Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Operations to ship high-impact features on time

  • Stay ahead of industry trends in loyalty, personalization, and martech—bringing innovative ideas to how we engage and reward our customers

Desired traits:

  • A systems thinker who can navigate complex integrations across loyalty platforms, CDPs, marketing automation, and POS systems

  • A data-driven decision maker, comfortable defining success metrics, running experiments, and iterating based on results

  • A strong communicator, able to align stakeholders across Marketing, Engineering, Finance, and Operations on roadmap priorities

  • A customer-obsessed builder who balances business objectives with genuine value for members

  • A self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can drive clarity in a fast-paced environment

  • A collaborative partner who builds trust with cross-functional teams and external vendors

Desired experience:

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with at least 2 years focused on loyalty, martech, CRM, or growth product areas

  • Direct experience with loyalty platforms (SessionM) and marketing automation tools (Braze) and Agentic marketing tools

  • Track record of shipping customer-facing products that drove measurable business impact

  • Experience managing complex platform migrations or vendor transitions

  • Strong analytical skills with experience defining KPIs and partnering with data teams

  • Familiarity with restaurant, retail, or consumer tech industries preferred

  • Experience working with engineering teams on API integrations and technical requirements

  • Three different medical plans to suit your and your family's needs
  • Dental and Vision insurance
