About The Operations Specialist Position:
The Operations Specialist will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of Stord’s relationship with our partners and customers that reside within the assigned 3PL partner sites. This role is remote but can require daily travel to the local partner facility. This person must be within daily commuting distance to our partner facilities located in Irving TX, Phoenix AZ, or Sacramento CA. The nature of our business requires the ability to be flexible, agile and responsive. These requirements can create travel needs with little, to no, advanced notice. The responsibilities below are not intended to be a complete list. Duties and responsibilities can change and/or be altered as needed to support the efficient operations of STORD’S business needs.
This role reports into the Manager of Warehouse Excellence - West on the Stord Partner Network team.
What You'll Do:
- Ensure SLA site compliance for assigned sites
- Align customer requests and setting expectations with the partner sites
- Constantly communicate with customers and partner sites
- Management of small projects like onboarding additional customer channels, working with automations, and other customer driven requests as applicable
- Working with data and reporting to make data informed decisions
- Integrations triage – data and process validation
- Scheduling inbound/outbound transportation activity (LTL, FTL, Parcel)
- Review and approve invoices
- Manage/Escalate customers disputes as needed
- General System Reconciliation
- Customer Communication via Freshdesk, Slack or other communication channels
- Expected to learn, with proficiency, Stord systems.
What You'll Need:
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, distribution or operations, preferably in a customer facing role
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex customer situations and resolve high-level issues
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to process operational data and customer feedback effectively. Intermediate to advanced Excel knowledge required, SQL knowledge is a plus.
- Superior communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in customer support software and CRM systems
- Strong on-site communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven capability in enhancing customer satisfaction through innovative problem-solving and process improvement
Bonus Points:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Previous start-up experience
