About the role

The Retail Market Associate is a customer facing role that creates the brand experience for the customer and facilitates accurate transactions. These transactions include customer service, account management, and general FAQs. The Brand Ambassador will educate customers on services offered on site, current company promotions and initiatives, and be able to guide customers through the buying / selling experience. The Brand Ambassador will also be responsible for all product intake while adhering to handling / transporting guidelines.

What you'll do

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards of the store
  • Support other areas of the site including but not limited to operations and visuals
  • Ability to lift / carry 20 lbs
  • Do manual work including loading or loading goods into the trucks if needed
  • Support the quality assurance process and procedures and other cross-functional roles as required
  • Support inbound receiving, quality checks and BOM Visuals with Inventory Specialists
  • Make sure products are in good condition from receipt till loading onto the truck
  • Inventory management
  • Assist customers with enquiries, complaints, feedback & follow up with CS team, Authentication Center and other cross functional teams
  • Perform transactions, functions and adjustments in company’s system including but not limited to; starting approved returns/claims for our customers, processing pending claims, updating existing claims, processing refunds to buyers under guidelines, waiving fees, updating account information per customer’s & CS team’s requests
  • Deliver a high level of customer service and engagement with customers
  • Ability to explain the StockX buying / selling process and features
  • Proficient knowledge of internal systems for account / order management
  • Facilitate accurate retail transactions using POS systems
  • Provide project assistance for additional tasks as needed
  • Support retail events as required
  • Other duties as required

About you

  • Experience in quality control, quality assurance and / or a related field
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • High degree of patience and comfort performing repetitive tasks requiring a high degree of focus
  • Flexibility and willingness to learn
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude are a must
  • Sense of urgency to perform tasks to timelines
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced work environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the Operations/Retail team

Pursuant to the various pay transparency laws/acts, the base salary is $20.00/hr plus opportunities for benefits (e.g., medical, dental), equity and discretionary bonuses. Compensation is dependent on geography and may vary.
