What is the Role?

Place Exchange is seeking an upbeat, energetic, and self-motivated Client Success Manager to join the Client Success team and help cultivate relationships with our existing agency and advertiser partners as a strategic advisor. You will use your client service skills and knowledge of agency innerworkings to manage renewal business and identify opportunities that drive incremental revenue. You will use your communication and time management skills to track and resolve any client issues, communicate relevant updates, and successfully exceed client service expectations. The right candidate is energized by the opportunity to break new ground in establishing OOH as the next major channel for programmatic buyers and marketers. Experience working in an Account Management or Client Success role is vital, and experience with programmatic and/or programmatic OOH advertising is a major plus.

This is a fast-paced, detail-oriented, and varied role that is perfect for you to delve deep into the emerging programmatic channel of OOH. You should have outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a team environment.


Achieve Place Exchange’s programmatic advertising revenue objectives by managing relationships with a portfolio of existing agency partners

Own a revenue target, inclusive of existing and growth opportunities, for a defined set of Place Exchange customers

Continue to educate, consult, and update agency partners on Place Exchange’s programmatic value proposition, new offerings, and alignment with their business to renewal and incremental revenue

Implement training and education efforts with wider agency teams

Initiate and drive ongoing incremental revenue opportunities, sell through new products, conduct QBRs, and ensure Place Exchange maintains high visibility with partners.

Act as the buy-side champion for our media owner partners, focused on growing partner specific and Place Exchange holistic revenues

Work with Marketing to develop partner messaging, sales tools and supporting collateral for partner offering

Deliver agency feedback to internal teams for consideration and improvements

What You’ll Bring

4+ years of experience working in account management or client success

4+ years of experience in the programmatic media space (buy-side or sell-side)

Extensive familiarity with the ad tech ecosystem and key trends

Experience working with demand side platforms (DSP) and supply side platforms (SSP)

Proven track record of success driving revenue, farming existing business, and upselling

Strong analytical base with experience with various business intelligence or reporting tools

Strong oral and written communication skills to effectively present technical products to non-technical customers, and negotiate deals

Collaborative, team-oriented working style


For those based in New York City, the expected compensation for this role at time of hire is a salary range of $75,000 - 95,000, plus bonus (based on level and performance), and stock options. Exact compensation is determined during our interview process by assessing a candidate’s experience and skills relative to internal peers as well as market benchmarks evaluated for the scope and responsibilities of the position and the location of the candidate. A candidate’s compensation will be based on the role and level they are hired for, which may be different than the role they applied for.
