The Role: Business Systems Engineer

About Nada

Nada is an award-winning FinTech platform on a pioneering mission to unlock the $34 trillion in wealth trapped in homeowner equity. We originate Home Equity Agreements (HEAs), allowing homeowners to receive cash upfront in exchange for a portion of their home's future appreciation—eliminating the burden of monthly loan payments.

Nada is a venture-backed (post Series A) team building the infrastructure for the next major category in consumer finance.

Role Summary:

We are seeking a Business Systems Engineer to to own and evolve Nada’s core business systems across sales/originations, marketing and operations. Reporting directly to our Head of Product, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and integrating the systems that power the full lifecycle of a Home Equity Agreement.

The primary systems you will own include:

  1. Lead Management / CRM
  2. AI Dialer / Voice Automation (Lead Qual)
  3. Loan Origination System (LOS): Salesforce
  4. Document Management System (DMS)
  5. Capital Management

This is a high-impact, 0→1 role for someone who enjoys building systems from the ground up, improving data flow across platforms, and acting as the technical owner of our go-to-market and origination infrastructure. This role demands a deep expertise in Salesforce and managing intricate integrations with external systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own Nada’s GTM and origination systems architecture end-to-end, including CRM, LOS (Salesforce), dialer/voice automation, document management, and capital management systems.
  • Design and optimize system workflows across the full customer lifecycle (lead → offer→ underwriting → closing → portfolio management), with a focus on improving conversion, speed, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as the technical owner of Salesforce (LOS), ensuring scalable architecture, clean data models, and high-quality user experience for sales and operations teams.
  • Architect and manage integrations between our proprietary POS, Salesforce, and third-party systems (dialers, DMS, data providers), ensuring reliability, performance, and data consistency.
  • Identify and eliminate friction in the funnel, proactively recommending system and process improvements that increase throughput and reduce manual work.
  • Build and maintain automation layers (flows, triggers, APIs) to streamline operations and reduce human intervention across the origination process.
  • Own data integrity and system governance, including validation rules, deduplication, monitoring, and audit processes.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Operations to translate business needs into scalable system solutions.
  • Act as the internal expert on GTM systems, advising leadership on tooling decisions, tradeoffs, and long-term architecture.

Qualifications:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in Salesforce administration, systems engineering, or business systems roles in high-growth environments.
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce (Certified Administrator Credential required; Advanced Admin or Platform App Builder preferred), including data modeling, automation (Flows), and system design.
  • Proven experience architecting and managing complex system integrations, including APIs, webhooks, and third-party platforms.
  • Strong understanding of lead-to-close workflows across sales, underwriting, and operations—ideally in fintech, lending, or similarly regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to design scalable systems from 0→1 or during rapid growth phases.
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally and translating business requirements into technical implementations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a bias toward simplification and automation.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Advanced Certifications like Advanced Administrator
  • Experience working in a regulated financial environment.

Location: Austin, Texas (Preferred) / Dallas, Texas
