The Opportunity: Business Development Representative

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will be responsible for proactive outbound prospecting, inbound lead qualification, and converting marketing leads to BDR-qualified leads to help build a strong sales pipeline. This position is critical to the success of our business and plays a pivotal role in advancing qualified prospects from lead status into qualified sales opportunities. The BDR will actively pursue potential customers through a variety of channels, seeking to understand their business goals and priorities and ultimately drive their interest toward our solutions and platform.

What can you expect the role to look like:

  • Pursue inbound leads.
  • Engage in multi-channel outbound prospecting (phone, email, LinkedIn).
  • Qualify leads based on identified ICP fit and criteria and collaborate with sales representatives to schedule high-quality meetings and demos.
  • Pre-show conference outreach.
  • Monitor live chat from website and incoming calls to sales line.
  • Manage lead flow, follow-up cadences, and activity tracking within CRM (Salesforce)
  • Discovery process to identify pain points & business goals of prospects.
  • Value-selling to articulate business value and product benefits; have a solid grasp of product functionality and competitive differentiation.
  • Continuously refine outreach strategies, messaging, and qualification processes based on performance analytics.
  • Support Marketing team in development of targeted outreach campaigns.
  • Represent LifeLoop by serving as the first, live touchpoint for potential customers.
  • Application of sales best practices to drive interest across the senior living market.

Experience with sales software tools preferred:

  • CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot or equivalent)
  • Lead enrichment (ZoomInfo or equivalent)
  • Sales intelligence (GONG or equivalent)
  • Prospecting (Salesforce, Outreach, or equivalent)
