Manager, Medical Summary Review (On-site)

Job Description

On-site work opportunity in our Chennai office.

India compensation is based upon the local competitive market.


  • Develop and implement standardized procedures for medical record summarization.
  • Oversee the timely and accurate compilation of medical records, ensuring completeness and relevance.
  • Conduct regular audits of medical record summaries to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Address and resolve any discrepancies or issues identified during quality assurance processes.
  • Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of the medical record summary process.
  • Prepare regular reports and updates for senior management on team performance, compliance, and process improvements.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Minimum of 6 - 9 years of experience in medical record summarization or health information management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
