About the Role
The Senior Director of Business Development – Western US will lead Kashable’s business development strategy across the West Coast and Rocky Mountain region, driving new partnerships with large employers and key distribution partners. In this role, you will build and deepen relationships with HR and benefits leaders at some of the nation’s most influential organizations—helping them deliver innovative financial wellness solutions to their employees.
As Kashable’s primary growth leader in the region, you will own and manage an enterprise sales territory spanning major metropolitan markets including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Denver, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City, with broader coverage across the Western United States.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive territory strategy to expand Kashable’s employer, consultant, and channel partnerships across the Western U.S.
- Source, manage, and close complex enterprise opportunities with large employers and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with CHROs, CFOs, benefits leaders, benefits consultants, benefits administration platforms, payroll providers, and wellness solution partners.
- Engage directly with employers to design and deliver solutions that meaningfully strengthen employee financial wellbeing.
- Collaborate closely with Marketing, Implementation, and Account Management to ensure seamless onboarding and long-term success for new employer partners.
- Serve as Kashable’s regional ambassador within the HR and benefits ecosystem—enhancing brand visibility through conferences, associations, and key industry networks.
Required Skills & Abilities
- Proven success in enterprise or consultative sales, ideally within HR, benefits, payroll, fintech, or financial wellness.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with senior HR and Finance leaders at large organizations.
- Experience managing a regional or national sales territory with long, complex deal cycles and multiple distribution channels.
- Highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the ability to operate autonomously while collaborating cross-functionally.
- Mission-driven, with a strong desire to help employers improve employee financial wellbeing.
- Exceptional communication, storytelling, negotiation and presentation skills.
- Data-driven mindset with experience tracking pipeline health, performance metrics, and sales effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and align cross-functional stakeholders.
Work Location
This is a remote position with regional travel expected (approx. 30-40% travel within assigned territory).
Education & Experience
- 10+ years of experience in B2B or enterprise sales, business development, or strategic partnerships.
- Deep familiarity with the employee benefits ecosystem and related distribution networks.
