- Office Expectation: You’re required to be in the office (in-person) 3-4 times a week to collaborate effectively with the team
Your Mission
We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst who will focus on the crucial tasks of requirements gathering and documentation. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering and implementation teams under the guidance of the Project Manager to ensure that all project requirements are gathered and documented. You will use your expertise to analyze requirements and facilitate clear communication between stakeholders, QA teams, and developers throughout the agile software development lifecycle (SDLC). This position not only plays a vital role in the current project success but is also designed as a stepping stone towards growth into a Product Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document business and technical requirements for the development team
- Act as a liaison between the development team and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective communication of requirements within an agile SDLC
- Support agile activities, including creating user stories, defining acceptance criteria, grooming the product backlog, and identifying key dependencies and risks
- Triage and prioritize tickets, seeking clarification from various functional groups as needed
- Assist with new client onboarding through direct engagement with clients and Sales
- Work closely with QA to ensure test plans and test cases are aligned with business requirements
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
- Assist the Project Manager in tracking project progress, managing risks, and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
Recipe for Success
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in fintech, software development, or a related industry.
- Proficiency in using requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and familiarity with software development processes
- Demonstrated experience in applying agile methodologies and collaborating within agile teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities

- Certifications: Agile, Scrum, or Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
- Product Management Experience: Previous experience or coursework in product management
- Industry Experience: Familiarity with the consumer finance or benefits industry.

The pay range for this position is $75,000 to $120,000 annually. The actual base salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skill level.
