Job Description

The Junior Staff Accountant will be part of a highly motivated, energetic team poised for its next stage of growth. Reporting up through the Controller and VP of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in driving effective cash management through your primary focus in accounts receivable (B2B). You will closely interact with other stakeholders in the company such as the Account Management team.

We’re looking for a proactive team player who is detail-oriented and is comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment.


· Ensuring that customer accounts are accurate by reconciling transactions, payments, and outstanding balances

· Following up with customers on overdue payments, sending reminders, and facilitating the collection process

· Managing and organizing accounts receivable documents and records

· Generating monthly financial and managerial reports that provide insights into accounts receivable performance

· Working closely with the Account Management team and other internal stakeholders

· Assist with other accounting areas as needed including but not limited to accounts payable

Qualifications and Skills:

· Bachelor's degree

· 2+ years of experience in Accounting

· Meticulous attention to detail

· Strong organizational skills

· Effective written and verbal communication skills

· Ability to prioritize and manage expectations

· Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively

· Proficient in Microsoft Excel


· Familiarity with Sage Intacct

· Experience with Accounts Receivable

The pay range for this position is $45,000 to $65,000 annually. The actual base salary will depend on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, job-related knowledge and skill level.
