Just Women’s Sports is hiring a Senior Editor to grow JWS’ newsletter. The Senior Editor will work closely with the VP of Content on the editorial strategy and drive and execute to hit the growth goals. That requires working with writers, setting processes for sourcing and creating stories, and working cross-company to ensure that JWS’ editorial arm is serving the company’s larger mission.

• Edit and proofread newsletters for grammar, punctuation, spelling, tone, and style
• Manage a team of Writers to ensure all deadlines are met
• Pitch newsletter topics to the content team
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, and graphic design teams on newsletter deliverables
• Align with broader content team on overall tone and voice
• Write newsletters when necessary
• Organize layout and select photos and graphics for newsletters, when necessary

• 3–5 years of editorial experience
• Excellent editing skills and ability to adapt to JWS style guidelines
• A strong understanding of SEO
• A strong understanding of analytics
• A strong understanding of what drives growth on the internet today
• Experience with Klaviyo, WordPress, Google Analytics, SEO tools, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Airtable is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, or Journalism is preferred
