As a Test Specialist at Hermeus you will have the opportunity to build and maintain test assets and infrastructure as well as execute test campaigns that are critical to Hermeus’s core development approach of rapid, iterative testing. As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to work on a broad range of vehicle subsystems including hydraulic system, fuel system, mechanisms, high-voltage, mechanisms, airframe structural, and more!

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, build, and commission various test assets to meet company needs ranging from test rigs and stands up to larger-scale test cells and facilities.
• Modify and perform upgrades to existing test assets to expand capability or meet program objectives.
• Execute tests in a safe, efficient, and precise manner to meet test objectives and deliver a high-quality test data product.
• Learn and operate data acquisition (DAQ) and control system software for various test setups.
• Assist with test planning, setup, and readiness to ensure smooth execution of test operations.
• Develop expertise on the test assets you work on, becoming a trusted technical resource within the team.
  
  
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Versatile, well-rounded skillset with at least a base-level of proficiency working on fluid, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Experience working with common instrumentation and data acquisition systems is a plus.
• Self-motivated and proactive. Able to take ownership of tasks and drive things to completion.
