As Operations Supervisor, Inventory & Logistics, you are accountable for safety, quality, and throughput across the Atlanta team. You ensure compliance to internal and regulatory standards while building the capability and capacity required to meet schedule. You partner closely with Engineering, Quality, and Facilities to resolve part and process constraints before they impact execution.
You set clear expectations, drive performance through structured training and measurable standards, and address gaps directly and constructively. You create an environment where issues surface early, accountability is non-negotiable, and problems are solved at the right level with urgency.
You operate cross-functionally with discipline and professionalism - escalating when necessary, resolving conflict productively, and ensuring the team consistently delivers against operational commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Own safety compliance and ensure full adherence to OSHA and internal standards in partnership with EHS.
  • Develop and standardize role-specific training (forklift, rigging, hazardous materials, etc.) and ensure proper tracking and certification.
  • Maintain quality and traceability standards for kitting, material processing, and work order execution.
  • Set daily and weekly production targets; allocate labor with team leads to meet schedule.
  • Identify labor, tooling, or asset constraints at least two weeks in advance and escalate risks early.
  • Remove execution blockers by driving resolution with Engineering, Facilities, Quality, and leadership.
  • Define and manage service level expectations across inventory and logistics transactions.
  • Develop and own performance metrics for safety, quality, throughput, and capacity.
  • Support CapEx planning and ROI development for material handling, automation, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate with Quality/Reliability on reviewing NCR landscape and own further actions associated with production processes (within scope) or any training needs.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years aerospace manufacturing experience or 6+ years in high-mix/high-volume manufacturing.
  • Experience leading frontline teams in production, inventory, or logistics environments.
  • Ability to support occasional nights or weekends as required.

Multipliers:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, or related field).
  • Working knowledge of SQL, Python, C#, or similar languages for data analysis or process improvement.
  • Experience operating in a hardware-focused startup environment.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory and logistics systems, including physical material flow and automation.
  • Familiarity with industry manufacturing and quality standards.
  • Proficiency with industrial material handling equipment, including high-capacity forklifts and rigging systems.
