- Support first article builds in a fast-paced, early-development environment
- Own design, process, and CapEx trades to support build and unlock key capabilities, and contribute to development of long-term, scalable manufacturing systems and infrastructure
- Drive make-vs.-buy decisions; collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain
- Provide hands-on floor support during build and test
- Drive continuous improvement measures across the factory, including tooling, ERP / MES workflows, and internal standards and specifications

- Collaborate with integrated product teams to ensure system-level avionics design meets needs for structures, propulsion, and software systems integration and test
- Comfortable communicating across design, manufacturing, supply chain, test, and logistics teams to ensure hardware quality and pace of execution
- Self-starter who can define and roll out new processes from scratch, working collaboratively with technicians, engineers, and external vendors
- Proficient in CAD, basic design or test analysis, and first-principles hand calculations
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting aerospace, defense, or other mission-critical mechanical hardware
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Experience authoring and improving work instructions, travelers, and build documentation
- Familiarity with PLM/MES systems and production change control in a regulated environment
- Hands-on exposure to tooling, fixtures, or assembly aids on the manufacturing floor
Additional Requirements
