Hatch Apps is a no-code platform for teams to build mobile apps, APIs, databases, and more. We save companies time and money on software development by putting them in full control. We're on a mission to make software development accessible to all. We believe that everyone should be able to build quality software, regardless of their technical ability. Our CEO is Param Jaggi. He is 2x Forbes 30 Under 30 and a nationally recognized inventor and entrepreneur. Hatch Apps is backed by Morgan Stanley, Y Combinator, Revolution, AVG Funds, January Ventures, and several other prominent investors.

We're looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our No Code Builder team. The focus is on building full stack components that our customers use in their app. You will report to our Team Lead, Mohamed El Kord, who built the first version of the No Code Builder. Our components are available to customers on the web platform to build their app. Components work like puzzle pieces: with a customizable front end and connect to other components from the backend.

  • Build, maintain, and scale our app components with React Native.
  • Innovate on new ways for customers to build more complex apps with our platform.
  • Work closely with the Components, Platform, and Backend teams.
  • Responsible for ensuring code is performant, reliable, and secure.
  • Manage workflow in Asana.
  • 5+ years of experience building and deploying production software at scale.
  • 3+ years experience working with React.
  • 2+ years of experience managing system architecture, ensuring best practices for reliability, performance, and security.
  • Knowledgeable about trends and best practices of Javascript.
  • Strong understanding cross-platform mobile app development frameworks.
  • Strong technical leadership, mentorship, and communication skills.
  • Experience working for a product-led growth company is beneficial.
  • Experience working with a remote engineering team.
