Position Title: Director of Product Engineering (Systems Specialist)

Position Summary: The Senior Manufacturing Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale systems that integrate mechanical, electrical, and computer technologies. This mid-career professional must have a proven track record of designing complex systems that perform reliably and efficiently. The role demands a deep understanding of manufacturing processes, coupled with systems thinking and leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Systems Design and Integration:

• Lead the design and implementation of large manufacturing systems that incorporate robotics and AI.
• Ensure system functionality aligns with production goals and quality standards.
• Develop detailed specifications and technical documentation.

Process Optimization:

• Enhance additive and subtractive machining processes to maximize efficiency.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.

Collaboration and Leadership:

• Mentor junior engineers and guide cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with stakeholders to align system designs with business objectives.

Quality and Compliance:

• Ensure all systems comply with industry regulations and internal quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
• 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, with expertise in large-scale systems design.
• Proficiency in CAD software, PLC programming, and system simulation tools.
• Strong background in robotics, AI integration, and complex troubleshooting.
• Excellent project management and leadership skills.

Work Environment:

Role involves working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to equipment, noise, and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in designated areas.
