About the Position

This contractor will support the Frontierview product, part of FiscalNote's Global Intelligence business. This Contractor will be part of FrontierView’s global research team. The contractor will support the Brazil healthcare research team at FrontierView, providing support with research, analysis, and preparation of materials for a number of topics relating to Brazil's healthcare system. The contractor will have the opportunity to attend virtual calls and meetings with clients, while participating in training and coaching sessions. One of the main areas of focus will be the analysis of trends within private health entities, such as hospital groups and laboratories in Brazil. The analysis will serve both local and international decision makers. In addition, there are opportunities to analyze public data from leading institutions in the public health sector.

-Contracted from August to December with the opportunity to extend

-Remote work, with the possibility of attending events in person

-30 hours per week (flexible hours)

About FrontierView’s Global Research Team

The contractor will be part of FrontierView’s global research team. The global research team produces all syndicated content for FrontierView’s client base of several thousand senior executives at multinational organizations. The team combines regional knowledge, macroeconomic and political insights, and business acumen to provide impactful analysis, forecasts, and executional advice for a senior executive audience. They work in close collaboration with the commercial team in supporting FrontierView’s growth strategy and ongoing client relationships.

About You

We’re looking for a junior researcher (can be a university student or recent graduate) with strong qualitative and quantitative skills, and an interest in learning more about the healthcare dynamics of Brazil's healthcare system. Strong research skills, independence, and ability to prioritize tasks will be key for this role.

What To Expect in This Position:

Monitoring and analyzing healthcare system trends
Collecting and organizing news, analysis, and data relating to Brazil's healthcare system
Writing research deliverables that are concise and impactful for a senior executive audience

What Sets You Apart:

No prior experience with the healthcare sector is required, but preference will be given to people with an interest in learning about the healthcare sector
Undergraduate degree in International Relations, Administration, Economics, other related areas
Fluency in Portuguese & English required
Demonstrated knowledge of Brazil and LATAM
Experience with Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Knowledge of macroeconomic fundamentals
Strong research capabilities
Good communication, organization, discipline, sense of urgency and commitment
