About the Position
As a Data Coordinator at Curate, you’ll be part of the data team working directly with the software developers and business development team to ensure our customers receive high-quality and accurate data. We all work as a team to improve our results, but you’re comfortable independently reviewing lots of text snippets to decide if something fits our qualifications or not. You’ll document data problems, share feedback, and focus on continuous improvement.
About the Curate Team
Curate helps businesses efficiently monitor risk and find opportunities through municipal data - at scale. We scan thousands of local government websites looking for meeting minutes and agendas where decisions are made that impact our business customers.
From onboarding to crafting strategic best practices to comprehensive technical support, the team strives to put the clients' needs first every day. We are dynamic, hard-working, and driven individuals who thrive in an open team structure where there are constant learning opportunities and room for growth.
About You
You are self-motivated and technically savvy. You can work independently on projects and thrive in autonomous situations. You are also a collaborative partner with other teams and thrive on finding solutions that benefit the group. You want to learn about the tech industry by truly seeing the foundations of how the product functions.

What To Expect In This Position:

  • Review data for accuracy
  • Classify data according to a specific set of topics
  • Work as a team, with customer input, to improve data results
  • Document problems in the data
  • Share ideas for data and process improvement with the team
  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve data quality
  • Participate in yearly data audits

What Sets You Apart:

  • 1-3 years of data review-related work experience preferred
  • Comfortable learning and adapting to new software
  • Excellent problem-solving and project management skills
  • Self-motivated and resourceful
  • Superior communication skills, including verbal and written communication
  • Comfortable working as an individual and part of a team
