As a TSA PreCheck Regional Manager, you will manage a portfolio of CLEAR’s TSA PreCheck enrollment locations. Reporting directly to the Sr Director of PreCheck Field Operations, you will be responsible for achieving operational performance targets at each location within your portfolio, including third-party distribution partners (e.g., retailers) and airports. You are process-oriented, experienced in providing hands-on support to front-line teams, and an expert at driving stakeholder buy-in to achieve results. To be successful in this position, you should exhibit strong business acumen, service and operational excellence, and stakeholder management skills. You will also leverage expert organization and communication skills to engage field leadership and drive accountability for delivering high-quality results that adhere to CLEAR and TSA requirements.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the launch and ongoing operational performance of a large portfolio of ~100 TSA PreCheck enrollment locations, in partnership with field leadership at CLEAR and third-party distribution partners
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with field leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Track operational and compliance performance metrics and AQLs on a daily basis
  • Develop proactive and reactive action plans for augmenting performance, in partnership with field leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Provide hands-on support for front-line teams as needed, balancing the need for 1:1 support and operations at scale across your full portfolio
  • Ensure team readiness to support stable operations at all locations from initial launch through ongoing growth and operations, including training, vetting, credentialing, and field technology
  • Support the Sr Director of PreCheck Field Operations with ad hoc projects to grow and optimize TSA PreCheck enrollment services

How you’ll measure success:

  • Performance of locations versus operational KPIs, including:
    • Application quality to meet TSA and CLEAR requirements
    • Service quality and stability, including staffing readiness to support uninterrupted operations at acceptable quality levels
    • Revenue by maximizing TSA PreCheck enrollments and CLEAR+ bundle sales
  • Strong relationships and communication lines with field leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
  • Intimate knowledge of each location in your portfolio and ability to navigate challenges based on its unique characteristics and dynamics

What you’re great at:

  • Expert stakeholder-management skills with internal and external parties, gaining buy-in to drive outcomes outside of formal reporting lines
  • Strong, customer-centric operator with ability to develop a deep, detailed understanding of processes, customer experience, and quantitative/qualitative success factors
  • Ability to master the details while also understanding and solving for big picture goals
  • Exceptional organization and project management skills, with an ability to coordinate execution across multiple teams and priorities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence others and to drive clarity and accountability around goals, success criteria, and timelines
  • Bias for action, with an ability to proactively identify opportunities and develop/execute action plans that drive measurable outcomes
  • Selfless and indefatigable leader who can build trust with both front-line teams and leadership, and motivate and empower geographically dispersed teams
  • 10+ years of experience in operations leadership
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time

The base salary range for this role is $90,000-100,000 depending on levels of skills and experience.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of CLEAR’s salary range for this position. Salaries will vary depending on various factors which include, but are not limited to location, education, skills, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of CLEAR’s total compensation package for employees and other rewards may include annual bonuses, commission, Restricted Stock Units.
