Carbon Robotics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Data and Reporting Analyst. This role will be instrumental in centralizing data management, streamlining reporting processes, and providing critical insights to support decision-making across departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools, and a keen attention to detail.

What you’ll do:

Data Consolidation and Integration:

  • Collect and consolidate data from various sources, including Jira, Carbon Ops Center, Grafana, and spreadsheets.
  • Develop processes to integrate disparate data sets into a centralized repository for analysis.

Reporting Development and Automation:

  • Design and develop reports to meet the needs of internal teams, including Support, Deep Learning, and Operations departments.
  • Automate reporting processes to streamline data extraction, analysis, and visualization.

Data Analysis and Insights:

  • Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform decision-making and strategic initiatives.
  • Generate insights from data analysis to support operational optimization, product performance evaluation, and business strategy development.

Customized Reporting Solutions:

  • Work closely with teams to understand their reporting requirements and develop customized reporting solutions tailored to their needs.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to teams on accessing and interpreting reports and data insights.

Data Quality Assurance:

  • Implement data validation processes to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of organizational data.
  • Identify and resolve data quality issues through data cleansing and validation techniques.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously evaluate and improve reporting processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and usability.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities for Success:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in data analysis, reporting, and visualization, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
  • Proficiency in data manipulation and analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with tools such as Jira and Grafana
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data storage and computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.

Carbon Robotics follows equitable hiring practices. Flexibility in our hiring process allows hiring of talent at levels different from what are posted. The compensation range outlined is based on a target budgeted base salary. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as relevant experience and skill, Interview assessments and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements. Offers are determined using our equitable hiring practices. Carbon Robotics offers additional compensation in the form of benefits premiums, pre-IPO stock options and On Target Earning commissions for appropriate positions. Base pay ranges are reviewed each year. We are committed to the principle of pay equity – paying employees equitably for similar work.

Carbon Robotics' base salary pay range:

$76,226—$115,862 USD
