About the Role
As Strategy & Operations Manager, you’ll work directly with our COO and Strategy & Operations Lead. You’ll take ownership of critical cross-functional initiatives, manage strategic planning processes, and ensure we’re tracking against company-wide priorities. This role is part operator, part strategic project manager, and part problem-solver. You’ll have visibility across the entire company and play a key role in making important operational decisions.
If you’re looking for a front-row seat to how a venture-backed startup operates and want to accelerate your impact and learning, this is it.
We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:
-
2–4 years into their career, ideally with experience in:
Management consulting or investment banking
Early-stage startups in Chief of Staff, BizOps, or strategy roles
Operations or finance roles with high ownership and visibility
A structured thinker with a bias for action — able to break down complex problems, drive clarity, and execute quickly.
You can operate both at 30,000 feet and in the weeds.
Highly resourceful — you don’t wait for direction; you anticipate, unblock, and move
Process-minded — you notice inefficiencies and create systems that scale. You have excellent pattern matching, and you know how to use your learnings to optimize a system or process.
Low ego, high horsepower — you do what needs to be done, from recruiting team members to strategic projects to shadowing field ops.
What You’ll Own
1) Company Operations
Co-pilot the business alongside the COO

Work with our data and product teams to track critical KPIs and make data-driven operational decisions
2) Strategic Projects (both Product & Process)
Own high-priority initiatives across the different “domains” of the business (screenshot below) – from improving our Top of
Funnel spend on the Recruiting side of the business to improving our Support Knowledge Base to managing multi-state compliance
Work with the leadership team to prioritize the highest-impact initiatives
3) Product Innovation
Transform front-line insights into product requirements
Partner with our Product team to identify and solve operational and scaling challenge
Chief of Staff 1

You’re both analytical and scrappy — Excel is second nature, but you’re also not afraid to pick up the phone
You’re comfortable managing up, down, and sideways
You’re hungry to learn and grow, but humble enough to take notes and iterate quickly
This Role Is Not for You If:
You’re looking for a highly structured or siloed role
You’re not interested in owning multiple workstreams or jumping into unfamiliar territory
You need to be told what to do — we need someone who can spot problems before they happen
What We Offer

Equity ownership – meaningful upside as we scale
Transparent leadership and strong mentorship from seasoned startup operators
