We are seeking a Senior Accountant, Technical Accounting & Financial Reporting to join our Accounting team to lead the preparation of required internal and external reporting. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for tracking changes to accounting rules and regulations that may impact BC’s business and for designing and implementing new standards accordingly. They will also be responsible for maintaining accurate accounting of BC’s equity compensation, and for participating in projects and audits as needed.

What You’ll Do:

• Preparation of the monthly, quarterly, and annual GAAP external and internal financial reporting
• Monitors the development and applicability of emerging accounting and reporting rules being deliberated by regulatory bodies
• Participates in determining the accounting impact, reporting implications and implementation of new accounting standards
• Reconciliation of equity compensation database
• Manages accounting and reporting for assigned areas, including but not limited to, stock-based compensation, earnings per share, intangibles, goodwill
• Supports aspects of the annual external audit, preparation of supporting documentation in response to external auditor requests
• Supports special projects as needed
• Perform ad-hoc technical accounting research and provide guidance to technical accounting team Assist in the preparation of technical accounting memos
• Supports compliance the Company’s 404 program in direct areas of responsibility

Who You Are:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, required
• CPA, or in the process of obtaining CPA is required
• 3+ years of experience, public accounting required
• Will consider straight from public accounting
• Public company experience
• Detail and deadline oriented, highly motivated
• Ability to establish and build relationships with geographically dispersed team members
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with SOX
