ABOUT THE JOB
Anduril’s Deployment Operations group is seeking a Deployments Engineer to join our team in Costa Mesa, CA.

As a Deployments Engineer, you will work within the Deployment Operations organization and across the aisle with other engineering and operations groups to continually improve and maintain high-impact production systems such as force protection sensor suites, UAV’s, and ground-based air defense systems fielded all over the world. You should have an aptitude for software, data systems, debugging, and an appetite for real-time response, rapid resolution, and root causing complex issues on electromechanical and flight systems. You will have a significant impact on and ownership over the reliability of critical defense systems and will tackle the complex and unique challenges that accompany this responsibility. You will be expected to take lessons from these support efforts and shape them into new operating procedures and inform product design changes in the pursuit of continual improvement and scaling sustainment as a function at Anduril Industries.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Spearhead the integration of flight systems telemetry into dashboards utilized for fleet management
  • Compile technical documentation to support customers, business development, and engineering
  • Provide remote support to field operations groups as they install and maintain Anduril’s products
  • Triage and root cause incidents and assist in driving postmortem actions
  • Interface with operations and product teams to identify and solve system or product reliability issues
  • Travel to customer sites in EMEA (<50%) to support product delivery, evaluation, and sustainment

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven ability to master a technical system and support it in operational environments—must demonstrate an innate drive to be self-sufficient across the breadth of a technical system
  • Experience with databases, structured query language (SQL), and robotic systems telemetry
  • Familiarity with Linux OS and/or robotics systems—comfort obtaining data from software platforms using command-line tools
  • Strong aptitude for problem solving in unstructured situations at the interface of hardware, software, and networking—ability to drive challenging and vague technical problems to clarity and resolution
  • U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export-controlled data

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. secret security clearance
US Salary Range
$95,200$142,800 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full time offers; and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
