Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
We are looking for a Modeling, Simulation and Analysis Engineer to join our team. As part of the team you will have the opportunity to develop, implement and maintain a sufficient fidelity virtual representations of the myriad of different vehicles Anduril works on. You will work with subject matter experts of various sub-system (engines, landing gear, airframe etc) to development and deploy associated sub-system models to identify and capture the pertinent physics/phenomenon.
The ideal candidate has experience with flight physics/system dynamics and has proficiency in model development in code. The role relies heavily on the ability of the individual to quantify/understand systems on board vehicles and how they work in consort to provide system level functionality and then implement this integration as a model. If you have a passion for flight and like the idea of building a physics based digital representation of a flying vehicle this is the role for you!

- Simulation solutions for Guidance, Navigation and Control algorithm development
- Software-In-The-Loop (SITL) solutions
- Hardware-In-The-Loop (HITL) solutions
- Pilot-In-The-Loop (PITL) solutions
- Customer product training solutions
- Monte-Carlo simulation analysis
- Simulation and Test data analysis tools and processes
- Work with multi-disciplinary subject matter experts to understand and adequately model pertinent sub-system, system and system of system dynamics
