WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Assist in the design and development of low observable unmanned air vehicles
  • Perform signature management analysis in both RF and IR spectrums
  • Develop analysis tools, workflows, and validation processes for signature predictions and validation
  • Select, develop andtest Low Observable materials to determine physical, electrical, and/or environmental properties
  • Aid in the development of manufacturing plans for Low Observable air vehicles, including infrastructure, materials, component fabrication, and assembly processes
  • Plan and execute RCS testing of Low Observable air vehicles and components

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of Low Observables experience on air vehicles
  • Proficient knowledge of Low Observables, survivability, and susceptibility
  • Experience with LO modeling and prediction tools, such as Computational Electromagnetics (CEM) tools, Method of Moments (MoM), HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, COAST, SENTRi, Xpatch, FEKO
  • Familiarity with Low Observable materials and manufacturing processes
  • Experience with Low Observable airframe design, treatments, and subsystem integrations
  • Experience designing mechanical parts (CAD). Understanding of manufacturing methods (machining, sheet metal, composites, 3D printing, injection molding, composite lamination, etc)
  • Experience with RCS testing of LO component and/or air vehicles
  • BS or higher degree in STEM discipline
  • Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience manufacturing Low Observable components, including materials and edges
  • Experience with designing LO apertures
  • Hands-on maintenance experience with Low Observable aircraft
  • Experience in NX/Teamcenter
