Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology. By bringing the expertise, technology, and business model of the 21st century’s most innovative companies to the defense industry, Anduril is changing how military systems are designed, built and sold. Anduril’s family of systems is powered by Lattice OS, an AI-powered operating system that turns thousands of data streams into a realtime, 3D command and control center. As the world enters an era of strategic competition, Anduril is committed to bringing cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to the military in months, not years.
Anduril’s Mission Engineering function is seeking a Network Engineer to join our C2 team. C2 is the group at Anduril that focuses on building hardware and software solutions, connecting sensors and data across all domains, to all forces, enabling a scaled convergence of effects across a dynamic battle-space.
We operate at a global scale in order to achieve inter-service cooperation and bring machine-informed decision making to the forefront of all that we do. Our goal, across all teams, is to enable our customers to utilize all available capabilities in pursuance of their own mission goals. C2 is unique in that it impacts across all business lines at Anduril - and is a driver for adoption of new products and growth for the entire business.
Our software must function in highly dynamic and adversarial environments where nodes have varying states of link quality, frequently changing network topologies and are under constant threat of interference ranging from electronic warfare to physical destruction. In addition, our assets are deployed to austere combat zones which do not have the well-developed network infrastructure which most network solutions rely on. The challenge is to provide networking infrastructure in these challenging environments that still meets our high standards of reliability, speed and security.
Members of this team are responsible for the full lifecycle of software development and hardware integration projects from architectural design, implementation, packaging, automated testing, field testing, debug tooling, deployment support, and ongoing maintenance.

  • Work directly with customers and product teams to identify network designs and features necessary to achieve mission success
  • Measure and improve system and network performance
  • Create diagnostic, testing, and simulation tools
  • Review, improve, and meet security requirements
  • Debug issues at all layers of the stack from low level kernel bugs to cloud networking issues

  • Knowledge in a broad variety of computer networking technologies
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Willingness to own solutions across entire the lifecycle from design to deployment to iteration based on customer feedback
  • Experience with: computer networking, routing protocols, time sync, IPsec/MACsec, network security

  • Lattice for Command and Control accelerates complex kill chains by orchestrating machine-to-machine tasks at scales and speeds beyond human capacity. It enables men and women in uniform to move with machine speed, unparalleled confidence, and military-grade security by turning data into information, information into decisions, and decisions into actions across strategic operations. Come join our team to build and operationalize systems addressing critical national security challenges and revolutionizing the future of command and control.
