About The Role

Acres is a leading provider of parcel mapping and data-driven insights, empowering industries like real estate, land management, and economic development. We’re expanding our content strategy with a focus on data storytelling, and we’re seeking a talented Content Writing Intern to help us craft compelling narratives from our unique data.

We are seeking a Content Writing Intern with a passion for data-driven storytelling and content writing to support key components of our inbound marketing strategy. The focus of this role will be contributing to the Land Values Insider blog and transforming Acres’ proprietary data into engaging content that enhances our position as a trusted data provider. You will work closely with our marketing and data teams to create original market research and content that drives organic search traffic, supports lead generation, and contributes to revenue growth. This position will report directly to the Acres Brand Director.

Core Responsibilities

    • Data Storytelling: Analyze and interpret Acres’ data to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience, showcasing the unique insights and value our data provides.

    • Content Creation: Write high-quality, data-driven content and SEO articles for the Land Values Insider blog to enhance brand visibility and engagement.

    • Research & Insights: Develop original market research pieces that reinforce Acres’ authority as a data provider in the real estate and land management sectors.

    • SEO & Keyword Integration: Collaborate with the marketing team to optimize content for search engines and ensure alignment with inbound marketing strategies.

    • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with data scientists and analysts to understand complex datasets and help translate them into accessible and valuable content for diverse audiences.

    • Content Strategy Support: Contribute to the development and execution of the content calendar, ensuring timely delivery of content pieces.

Qualifications

  • Comfortable working with data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for storytelling.

  • Self-starter with excellent organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple projects.

  • Familiarity with SEO practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) is a plus.

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in marketing, communications, journalism, data science, or a related field.
